Brackett Manor is the idea that a home is built on daily care, shared wisdom, and love. My husband, Don, and I created this space to explore all of it—from the creative kitchen to the practical workshop—helping you make your house a true home.
Our original blueprint was simple: I would focus on cooking, homemaking, and crafts. Don, a passionate home inspector, would share maintenance, repair, and workshop projects. It was a partnership.
After Don’s sudden passing in February 2020, this project was paused. Rebuilding it now is a tribute to his life, his practical knowledge, and his belief that we should always share what we know to help others.
Today, Brackett Manor continues that mission. Here you’ll find the original vision for a creative, well-maintained home, alongside honest conversations about navigating loss and building a resilient life. It’s all part of the same project: creating a space where life can truly come home.
